to my nephew John Underhill's son Arthur £100 and a broad piece of gold (£1 3s) father to have interest in his minority; to John's son Nicholas Underhill £100 at 21; to John's daughter Elizabeth Underhill £30 at marriage or 21; to my godsons John Gunner son of John of Maresfield, Sussex and John Balcomb son of John of Godstone and goddaughter Mary Butcher daughter of Thomas Butcher of Godstone, carpenter 5s each; all my clothes to my nephew John Underhill except an old grey coat which to Richard Mitchell of Lingfield, husbandman; to my nephew John Underhill's wife Susan Underhill all my linen except one sheet in which I am to be buried; residue to my nephew John Underhill, exec.
