Thomas Underhill of Blackbury Street, Lingfield, yeoman, visited with a long and lingering illness, died 30 Nov 1624 [nuncupative] (to poor £1 10s)
to my brother Nicholas Underhill £50 at 24; to Ann Lusted for the goodwill and liking we had for each other £40; to the four children of my sister ... Collens £20 among them at 10; to my godchildren a ewe sheep and lamb each; to my kinswoman Elizabeth Davie £1 10s; to Joan Walter 'my tender' the piece of gold I wore round my neck which king James gave me; my brothers William Underhill and John Underhill, execs.; residue to brothers and sisters William Underhill, John Underhill, George Underhill, Robert Underhill and Martha Underhill equally
