to Joan Hollondby wife of Henry Hollondby of Lingfield, husbandman £10; to Susan Nettle wife of John Nettle of Westerham, Kent, husbandman £10; to Frances Turner widow of Thomas Turner late of Leigh, husbandman £10; to Joan Cooper wife of Thomas Cooper of Crawley, Sussex, butcher £10; to Edward son of William Wells of Edenbridge, Kent £10; to my servants £1 each; to my godchildren 5s each; to John Webb son of Robert Webb of Lingfield, weaver £5 at 21; to Elizabeth widow of Robert Swaysland, deceased £10; to Edward Swaysland son of Robert and Elizabeth Swaysland £40 (part to put him to some trade at his choice and rest at 21); to my son in law Edward Knight of Lingfield, yeoman £50; to my kinsman John Underhill of Puttenden and his sister Catherine Underhill a guinea each; to my two old servants John Knight and John Burstow £5 each; to Thomas Everest of Lingfield, shopkeeper £5; to Robert Lucas and Mary Lucas children of Robert of Godstone, gentleman a guinea each; to my wife Mary Underhill my best horse or mare and half my linen made since we married; to my kinsman Thomas Underhill son of John Underhill, deceased all my messuages and residue, exec.
