The following is a transcription of the will provided to me and made by John F Howes - March 2013

In the name of god amen the sixt day of november anno dmi one thousand six hundred thirty and two I Henry Ffawlkner of Eastgrinsted in the county of Sussex, yeoman being sicke in body but of good and pfecte remembrance (thanks bee given to Almighty God) I doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme following; ffirst and principally  I bequeath my soule to Almighty god my creator and to Jesus Christ my redeemer trusting by his death and passion to have life everlasting; And my body to the earth:
Item I give unto the poore of the parish where I am buryed ten shillings at the day of my buryall:
Item I give unto my sonne Thomas Ffawlkner twentie pence if hee demand it;
Item I give and bequeath unto my sonne John Ffawlkner twelve pence:
Item I give unto henry Ffawlkner the sonne of John Ffawlkner aforesaid twelve pence.
Item I give unto his sonne Thomas Ffawlkner twelve pence;
Item I give unto his sonne John Ffawlkner twelve pence;
Item I give unto his daughter Elizabeth twelve pence;
Item I give unto his sonne Edward Ffawlkner twelve pence;
Item I give unto my daughter Joan the wife of Robert Drewe twelve pence;
Item I give unto Joan Drewe her daughter twelve pence;
Item I give unto Susan Drewe her daughter twelve pence;
Item I give unto my daughter deceased the wife of Thomas Ellis twelve pence;
Item I give unto Thomas Ellis her sonne twelve pence;
Item I give unto John Ellis her sonne twelve pence;
The residue of all my goods cattells, chattels whatsoever, my debts paid and discharged I will and bequeath unto Henry Ffawlkner my sonne whom I doe make the executor of this my last will and testament;
And I doe ordeyne and make my very good friend Thomas Dyne of Eastgrinsted and Richard Constable of Ashurst in Kent to bee my overseers of this my last will and testament; And I give unto them for their paynes to bee taken at therin five shillings a peece.
In wits whereof I have sett my hand and seale day and yeare above written Henry Ffawlkner witness hereunto John Underhill, Nicholas Constable his marke.
