In the name of God Amen I Thomas Dungate of East Grynstid in ye County of Sussex beinge weake in bodye but of good memorie thanks be to God doe make this my last will & testament in manner & forme followinge. Imprimis I committe my soule into the hands of Almightie God & my bodie to ye earth to be decently buried in East Grynstids church yarde as neere my wife as may be.
Item I make my twoe sonns Thomas Dungate & John Dungate my sole executors.

Item I give unto my sonne Thomas this home house called Willard Bridge & of barthe? close garden & halfe of orcharde & ye meddowe next ye river beinge twoe acres more or lesse with ye tan yard belonginge to it.

Item I give to my sonne John Dungate the inner house now in ye occupacon of Richard Chiverill & Richard Farnes & halfe of orchard to be devided by lyne from ye corner of ye hedge that fenceth in Richard Farnes his garden downe crosse to ye dampson tree on ye other side & that meddowe above my house beinge by estimacon twoe acres & a halfe more or lesse & a wood house standinge in ye close next ye high way which I will shoulde stande there & not be removed in twelve yeares.

Item I will that all my mooveable goods be equally devided betweene my twoe sonns before said. Item I give unto my daughter Mary Dungate ten pounds & five shillings to her children.

Item I give unto Walter Martins children twelve pence a peece all which legaces I will should be paide wthin a twelve monethe & a day next after my decease.

Item I give unto Ann Willard twoe shillings six pence to be pd by my executor alsoe. Item I will that my executor should pay all my debts honestly to everie man.

Item I doe renounce all former wills by these presents.
