The following is a transcription of the will provided from the SFHG library - Transcribed by Dave Woolven October 2006

In the name of God Amen I Mary Dungate of Rygate in the County of Surrey widow being of sound mind and memory praised be God therefore but calling to mind the uncertainty of this present life do this five and twentyeth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred twenty two make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following.  First I commend my soul into the hands of almighty God my creator hoping to inherit eternal life through the merits of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and my body I commit to the earth from whence it came decently to be buried by my executors hereinafter named at their discretion.  And as to my worldly estate I will and dispose thereof as followeth. 
First I give and bequeath unto my three daughters Elizabeth, Sarah and Mary the sume of twenty pounds apeice of lawfull money to buy them mourning. 
Item I give unto my son Charles all my leases term and terms of years and all other my right and interest of and in the severall lands and tenements in Rygate held by me from my several landlords. 
Item I make and ordaine my sons Stephen and Joseph Dungate joynt executors of this my last Will and Testament and I give unto them all the rest and residue of my goods chattells and personal estate whatsoever after my debts legacies and funerall charges are paid and discharged. 
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.  Mary Dungate

(Latin)   This Will was proved at London 15 June 1725 before the Ven Lawlo Pinfold, Doctor of Laws, Surrogate to the Ven John Bettesworth, Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oaths of Stephen Dungate and Joseph Dungate the executors named in the said Will to whom admon was granted &c &c
