I John Dungate of Ducklies in the parish of West Hoathly in the County of Sussex yeoman being of sound mind and memory praised be God do make and publish my last Will and Testament touching the disposition of my temporal estate in manner following (that is to say) 
I give devise and bequeath all my estate whatsoever both real and personal unto my dear wife Susannah Dungate and to my son Thomas Huett Dungate and to their heirs executors and admors in trust that they or the survivor of them or the heirs and assigns of such survivor do and shall sell and dispose of for the best price that may be got all or so much and such part of my said estates as shall be sufficient for the discharging of my just debts and out of the monies arising by such sale do pay and discharge the same accordingly and the remainder of the monies arising by such sale and also such part of my said estates as shall remain unsold after payment of my debts as aforesaid my will is and I do direct that my said wife shall take the interest rents and produce thereof during the term of her natural life for her support and maintenance and from and after her decease I give devise and bequeath the same to and amongst all my children and to their heirs executors and admors for ever equally to be divided among them share and share alike
and I make and constitute my said wife Susannah Dungate and son Thomas Huett Dungate joint executors of this my last Will and Testament and do revoke all former Wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament. 
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of August one thousand seven hundred and fifty five.  John Dungate.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said John Dungate the testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.  Charles Dungate;  ...? Turner;  Richd Dungate

On the twentieth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety five administration (with the Will annexed) of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of John Dungate late of Ducklies in the parish of Westhoathly in the County of Sussex deceased was granted to John Dungate the son only child and as such the surviving residuary legatee substituted in the said Will having been first sworn duly to administer.  Susannah Dungate widow the relict and Thomas Huett Dungate the son also of the said deceased and the residuary legatees in trust named in the said Will surviving the said deceased but? ... without having taken upon them or either of them the execution thereof
