Richard had ten children.

1. Peter Underhill was born about 1552 and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her husbands son. He married Joan Cheverton on 10^th May 1584 in Lingfield, Surrey. Joan was buried there 6^th May 1630 ('wife of Peter', but unnamed). Peter was buried 30^th May 1633 in Lingfield, Surrey. Peter & Joan had at least five children (only father shown as Peter).
   1. Richard Underhill was possibly born about 1576 probably in Lingfield, Surrey. (derived as no birth record found). He possibly married Elizabeth Pocknell on 22^nd June 1600 in Lingfield, Surrey. Elizabeth was buried there on 11^th December 1626 ('wife of Richard'). Richard was possibly buried on 17^th May 1629 in East Grinstead, Sussex. Richard & Elizabeth had one known child
      1. Richard Underhill was baptised on 13^th March 1603 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Richard). He possibly married Rose Langridge in East Grinstead on 3^rd October 1624. Richard & Rose had nine children (parents all shown as Richard & Rose).
         1. Richard Underhill was baptised on 9^th October 1625 in East Grinstead, Sussex and he was probably buried there on 17^th May 1629.
         2. Rose Underhill was baptised on 18^th April 1627 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
         3. Sicely Underhill was baptised on 12^th April 1629 in East Grinstead, Sussex and she was buried there on 1^st April 1637.
         4. Ann Underhill was baptised on 25^th March 1631 in East Grinstead, Sussex
         5. William Underhill was baptised on 14^th April 1633 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
         6. Percy Underhill was baptised on 30^th March 1636 in East Grinstead, Sussex
         7. Richard Underhill was baptised on 7^th July 1639 in East Grinstead, Sussex
         8. Elizabeth Underhill was baptised on 21^st December 1641 in East Grinstead, Sussex

   3. William Underhill was baptised on 6^th April 1589 in Lingfield, Surrey and was buried there on 8^th April 1589 ('son of Peter').
   4. Mary Underhill was baptised on 13^th April 1595 in Lingfield, Surrey
   5. William Underhill was buried on 6^th February 1609 in Lingfield, Surrey ('son of Peter').
2. Joan Underhill was born about 1554 and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her husbands daughter and inherited a sheet that was her mothers.
3. Richard Underhill was baptised on 3^rd August 1561 in Lingfield, Surrey and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her son and Executor. He possibly married firstly Joan Giles. Details of Richard Underhill & Joan are shown separately as they are direct ancestors.
4. Agnes Underhill was born about 1562, probably in Lingfield, Surrey and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her daughter and as being under 20.
5. Clemence Underhill was born about 1564, probably in Lingfield, Surrey and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her daughter and as being under 20.
6. Edward Underhill was baptised on 23^rd April 1565 in Lingfield, Surrey and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her son and Executor. He married Joan. Joan was buried there on 12^th October 1613 (wife of Edward of Prickenham). Edward was buried on 29^th April 1637 ( Edward of Prickenham). Edward & Joan had nine children (only father shown as Edward).

   4. George Underhill was baptised on 3^rd December 1595 in Lingfield, Surrey. He married Joan Driver on 1^st October 1632 who was buried there on 8^th April 1635 ('wife of George of Prickenham') . He secondly probably married Dorothy Webb on 12^th October 1637 in Lingfield, Surrey
      1. George Underhill was baptised on 20^th October 1638 in Lingfield, Surrey ('son of George of Prickenham')
      2. Edward Underhill was baptised on 5^th July 1640 in Lingfield, Surrey ('son of George of Prickenham')
   5. Katherine Underhill was baptised on 15^th May 1597 in Lingfield, Surrey (no parents shown)
   6. Mercy Underhill (Mercie) was baptised on 13^th August 1598 in Lingfield, Surrey
   7. William Underhill was baptised on 3^rd February 1600 in Lingfield, Surrey
   8. Anne Underhill was baptised on 22^nd November 1601 in Lingfield, Surrey
   9. John Underhill was baptised on 17^th November 1602 in Lingfield, Surrey.
7. Thomas Underhill was born about 1566, probably in Lingfield, Surrey and was mentioned in Ellen's 'Will' of 1581 as being her son and as being under 20. He possibly married firstly Elizabeth Richards on 23^rd January 1586 in Lingfield, Surrey. Elizabeth was buried there on 16^th September 1598.('wife of Thomas'). He married secondly Margaret (she was mentioned in his 'Will' of 1620 and was Executor). Thomas left a 'Will' that was dated 8^th April 1620 and he was buried on 5^th April 1622 in Lingfield, Surrey (Thomas of Linehouse). In the 'Will' he is described as a 'Tanner' and lived at 'Lyne House'. Thomas & Margaret had thirteen children.
   1. Thomas Underhill was buried on 7^th March 1588 in East Grinstead, Sussex
   2. Margaret Underhill was born about 1597, probably in Lingfield, Surrey and she was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1620.
   3. Thomas Underhill was baptised on 19^th August 1599 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1620 and was Executor. He possibly married Elizabeth Squire on 11^th February 1615 in Lingfield, Surrey. She was buried on 26^th March 1629 in East Grinstead, Sussex (' wife of Thomas, widow). Thomas was buried on 19^th January 1629 in East Grinstead, Sussex. Thomas & Elizabeth had six children
      1. Thomas Underhill was baptised 25^th January 1618 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
      2. Elizabeth Underhill was baptised 11^th June 1620 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
      3. George Underhill was baptised 28^th July 1622 in East Grinstead, Sussex. He was possibly buried there on 30^th January 1623.
      4. Ann Underhill (Annis) was baptised 14^th December 1623 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
      5. Rachel Underhill was baptised 1^st January 1627 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
      6. Joan Underhill (Joane) was baptised 1^st February 1629 in East Grinstead, Sussex.

   5. Elizabeth Underhill was born about 1602, probably in Lingfield, Surrey and she was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1620 as being under 21.
   6. Francis Underhill was baptised on 24^th April 1603 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1620 as being under 21.
