John Underhill & Agnes had eight known children

1. John Underhill was born around 1511 and was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539 and was the Overseer to the Will. He was possibly buried on 7^th March 1586 in Lingfield, Surrey. ('Old). He was mentioned in his brother Edward's 'Will' of 1559 as Overseer & witness. He possibly had two children.
   1. John Underhill was born around 1540 probably in Lingfield, Surrey. His wife was buried on 24^th December 1597 in Lingfield, Surrey. ('Wife of John of Baldens Hill).
      1. Margery Underhill was baptised on 10^th September 1561 in Lingfield, Surrey (daughter of John) and she was buried there on 17^th December 1561 ('daughter of John').
      2. Ano Underhill (shown as ...eis, daughter of John) was baptised on 7^th February 1565 in Lingfield, Surrey
      3. William Underhill was buried on 16^th September 1566 in Lingfield, Surrey ('son of John of Baldens Hill')
      4. Mary Underhill was baptised on 9^th March 1569 in Lingfield, Surrey ( dau of John of Blackberry Street)
      5. John Underhill was baptised on 25^th November 1571 in Lingfield, Surrey ( son of John of Blackberry St). He was possibly buried there on 5^th October 1580 (' of Blackbury Street)
      6. Paul Underhill was baptised on 2^nd February 1576 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of John of Blackberrie Street).
      7. Margaret Underhill was baptised on 19^th March 1581 in Lingfield, Surrey ( dau of John of Blackbury Street)
   2. Nicholas Underhill was born around 1550 probably in Lingfield. (It is guesswork about parents, but first child named John). He married Joan (Johane) Allyn on 31^st May 1578 in East Grinstead, Sussex (she was mentioned in his 'Will' of 1611). Nicholsa left a 'Will' dated 4^th December 1611 and he was buried on 23^rd December 1612 in Lingfield, Surrey ('Nicholas Senior').
      1. John Underhill was baptised on 1^st October 1581 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was also shown in East Grinstead register (shown as Nicoholas Underhill, his son). He was mentioned in his fathers 'Will' of 1611.
         1. Joan Underhill was baptised on 28^th April 1605 in Lingfield, Surrey. She was mentioned in her grandfathers 'Will' of 1611 as being under 14.
         2. Anna Underhill was baptised on 30^th July 1609 in Burstow, Surrey. She was mentioned in her grandfathers 'Will' of 1611 as being under 14.
      2. Joan Underhill (or Jane on PRT) was baptised on 19^th May 1583 in Lingfield, Surrey and she was buried there on 19^th May 1583 (Joane, daughter of Nicholas).
      3. Elizabeth Underhill was buried on 22^nd February 1584 in Lingfield, Surrey (daughter of Nicholas).
      4. Nicholas Underhill was baptised on 7^th November 1585 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his fathers Will of 1611 and was Executor. He married firstly Jane Brailfall in 1604 in Lingfield, Surrey. They had one child (a). He secondly married Susan Webb on 8^th February 1618 in Lingfield, Surrey and they had five children (b-f)
         1. Ano Underhill (daughter) was baptised on 11^th July 1616 in Lingfield, Surrey (daughter of Nicholas)
         2. Joan Underhill (Joane) was baptised on 16^th August 1621 in Lingfield, Surrey
         3. Anne Underhill was baptised on 18^th January 1624 in Lingfield, Surrey (and also recorded in East Grinstead - shown as Nicholas & Susan from Lingfield)
         4. Nicholas Underhill was baptised on 24^th January 1627 in Lingfield, Surrey. He maybe possibly married Mary. Nicholas left a 'Will' that was dated 18^th October 1705 and he was buried on 20^th November 1706 in Lingfield, Surrey (' Nicholas of Simpeers (or Simpose)). The 'Will' was witnessed by Arthur Underhill- See Thomas Underhill 1530).
         5. Susanna Underhill was baptised on 24^th May 1629 in Lingfield, Surrey.
         6. Elizabeth Underhill was baptised on 27^th January 1633 in Lingfield, Surrey.
      5. Joan Underhill (Joane) was baptised on 12^th May 1588 in Lingfield, Surrey and she was buried there on 4^th August 1588 (daughter of Nicholas).
2. Edward Underhill was born around 1513 and was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539 and was Executor for the 'Will'. He married Margaret in about 1541. Edward left a 'Will' in which he was described as a 'Tanner' and was dated 13^th October 1558 and Edward died in 1558. Edward and Margaret (she was mentioned in his 'Will' of 1559) had six children.
   1. Margaret Underhill was born around 1542 and was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1558 as being under 18.
   2. Elizabeth Underhill was born around 1544 and was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1558 as being under 18.
   3. Edward Underhill was born around 1546 and was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1558 as being under 21. He was mentioned in his son Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 and was also a witness. He married Joan Dane on 24^th April 1581 in Lingfield, Surrey . Edward left a 'Will' in which he was described as a 'Tanner' that was dated 22^nd February 1634 and he died in 1636. Joan (mentioned in his 'Will' of 1634) was buried on 9^th March 1637 in Lingfield, Surrey (Joana, widow of Edward). Edward & Joan had twelve children.
      1. Joan Underhill (Joane) was baptised on 4^th March 1582 in Lingfield, Surrey (daughter of Edward). Assumed died prior to 1624 as not mentioned in brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 or Father's 'Will' of 1634.
      2. Edward Underhill was baptised on 8^th December 1583 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Edward). He possibly married Margaret Haselden , (or Hasseldeene), on 26^th January 1608 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (license issued at Lewes on 24^th December 1607 with Edward shown of Lingfield and Margaret Haseldex of Eastgrinsted, widow and surety by John Heginbotham of Plumpton, clerk). Assumed died prior to 1624 as not mentioned in brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 or Father's 'Will' of 1634.
      3. Frances Underhill was baptised on 24^th April 1586 in Lingfield, Surrey (dau of Edward) in Lingfield, Surrey. She married William Collens on 23^rd October 1612. She was mentioned in her brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 and William was also mentioned as Overseer. She was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1634 as being a widow. Frances & William had four children (mentioned in her brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 as all being under 10).
      4. John Underhill was born around 1590 probably in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 and was executor and he was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1634. He possibly married Anna ..illes on 12^th May 1617 in Lingfield, Surrey. Anna was buried there on 14^th January 1637 (wife of John of Whitehouse). John possibly married secondly Martha king on 20^th August 1637 in Lingfield, Surrey. John & Anna had nine children.
         1. John Underhill was baptised on 15^th March 1618 in Lingfield, Surrey. He maybe married Ann and had at least five children.
            1. John Underhill was born around 1640 (derived as no birth record exists) . He married Ann and had five children.
               1. John Underhill was baptised on 7^th February 1664 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (son of John & Anne)
               2. Mary Underhill was baptised on 23^rd January 1666 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (son of John & Anne)
               3. Jane Underhill was baptised on 28^th September 1668 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (son of John & Anne)
               4. Thomas Underhill was baptised on 14^th September 1671 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (son of John & Anne)
               5. Benjamin Underhill was baptised on 12^th July 1674 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (son of John & Anne)
            2. Sarah Underhill was baptised 4^th May 1645 in East Grinstead, Surrey (dau of John & Ann) and she was possibly buried there on 31^st January 1649 (dau of John).
            3. Elizabeth Underhill was baptised 13^th February 1648 in East Grinstead, Surrey (dau of John & Ann).
            4. Susanna Underhill was baptised April 1651 in East Grinstead, Surrey (dau of John & Ann).
            5. Soloman Underhill was baptised 3^rd September 1654 in East Grinstead, Surrey (son of John & Ann). He married firstly Elizabeth Foard on 26^th March 1688 in Newington, Surrey and they had two children (1-2). He married secondly Anne and had one child (3). Anne was buried on 10^th February 1694 in East Grinstead, Susex (Wife of Soloman)
               1. Anne Underhill was baptised on 18^th June 1688 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (daughter of Soloman & Elizabeth).
               2. John Underhill was baptised on 4^th October 1689 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (daughter of Soloman & Elizabeth).
               3. Soloman Underhill was baptised on 18^th September 1691 in East Grinstead, Sussex. (son of Soloman & Anne).
         2. Ano Underhill was baptised on 22^nd September 1620 in Lingfield, Surrey (John of Whitehouse)
         3. George Underhill was baptised on 25^th November 1621 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of John of Whitehouse) . He possibly had four children
            1. Katherine Underhill (Catherine) was baptised on 9^th June 1643 in Lingfield, Surrey (daughter of George)
            2. Elizabeth Underhill was baptised on 9^th June 1644 in Lingfield, Surrey and was buried there 3^rd August 1648 ('daughter of George').
            3. Jane Underhill (Jana) was baptised on 10^th May 1646 in Lingfield, Surrey
            4. George Underhill was baptised on 11^th June 1648 in Lingfield, Surrey. He possibly married Elizabeth Burgate on 4^th October 1676 in Lingfield, Surrey. Elizabeth was buried there on 8^th March 1679 (wife of George). George & Elizabeth had one child.
               1. William Underhill was baptised on 13^th January 1678 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was buried there on 5^th April 1679 (' son of George')
         4. Richard Underhill was baptised on 24^th March 1625 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of John of Whitehouse).
         5. Anna Underhill was baptised on 25^th March 1628 in Lingfield, Surrey
         6. Robert Underhill was baptised on 19^th April 1631 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of John of Whitehouse).
            1. William Underhill was baptised on 26^th April 1663 in Lingfield, Surrey
            2. Nicholas Underhill was baptised on 2^nd April 1665 in Lingfield, Surrey and he was buried there on 14^th November 1666.

            3. Abraham Underhill (Abaram) was baptised on 3^rd October 1669 in Worth, Sussex.

            5. Mary Underhill was baptised on 20^th March 1673 in Worth, Sussex.

      5. William Underhill was baptised on 25^th March 1593 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1634 as the main inheritor and was mentioned in his brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 and was executor.
      6. Thomas Underhill was baptised on 3^rd March 1594 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Edward the younger). Edward left a 'Will' (Thomas Underhill of Blackbury street.) which was dated 30^th November 1624 and he was buried on 1^st December 1624 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Edward).

      9. Robert Underhill was born about 1603 and was buried on 23^rd December 1629 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Edward). He was mentioned in his brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624.
      10. Nicholas Underhill was baptised on 12^th January 1606 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Edward of Blackboro). He was mentioned in his brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 as being under age 24. He was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1634. He possibly married Joan Hogett (or Hoggette) on 2^nd May 1633 in Lingfield, Surrey. Joan was baptised on 7^th May 1615 in Lingfield, Surrey, the daughter of Thomas & Elizabeth Hoggett. Nicholas left a 'Will' in which he was described as a 'Tanner' that was dated 26^th April 1681 and he was buried on 3^rd May 1681 in Lingfield, Surrey (Nicholas of Blackberry Street). Nicholas & Joan had five children.
          1. Thomas Underhill was baptised on 12^th March 1637 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1681 as the main beneficiary. Thomas left a 'Will' in which he was described as a 'Tanner' that was dated 18^th April 1682 and he was buried on 24^th April 1682 in Lingfield, Surrey (Thomas of Blackberry Street).
          2. George Underhill was baptised on 21^st August 1642 in Lingfield, Surrey and was buried there 6^th July 1653.(son of Nicholas)
          3. Joan Underhill was possibly born about 1654, probably in Lingfield and she married Edward Knight. Joan and Edward were mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1681 and her brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1682.
          4. Elizabeth Underhill was possibly born about 1658, probably in Lingfield and she was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1681 and her brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1682. She left a 'Will' dated 17^th August 1695 and she was buried on 8^th January 1696 in Lingfield, Surrey.
          5. Ann Underhill was possibly born about 1660, probably in Lingfield and she was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1681 and her brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1682. She married Richard Turner.
      11. George Underhill was baptised on 8^th March 1607 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was mentioned in his brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624. He was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1634. He possibly married Elizabeth Bugges on 11^th April 1631 in Lingfield, Surrey. He was buried on 31^st December 1642 in Lingfield, Surrey (George of Blackbury). George & Elizabeth possibly had two children:
          1. Henry Underhill was baptised on 11^th December 1631 in Lingfield, Surrey
          2. John Underhill was baptised on 10^th November 1633 in Lingfield, Surrey
      12. Henry Underhill was baptised on 27^th June 1610 in Lingfield, Surrey (son of Edward of Blackboro). Assumed died prior to 1624 as not mentioned in brother Thomas's 'Will' of 1624 or Father's 'Will' of 1634.
   4. Thomasine Underhill was born around 1548 and was mentioned in her father's Will of 1558 as being under 18. Probably married Thomas Holloway on 16^th Novemberr 1574 in Crowhurst, Surrey.
   5. Joan Underhill was born around 1550 and was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1558 as being under 18. She possibly married Richard Coxe in September 1572 in East Grinstead, Sussex.
   6. Agnes Underhill was born around 1552 and was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1558 as being under 18.
3. Richard Underhill was born around 1515 and was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539. He married Ellen. Details of Richard Underhill & Ellen are are shown separately as they are diect ancestors
4. Joan Underhill was born around 1517 and she was mentioned in her father's 'Will' of 1539.
5. Simon Underhill was born around 1519 and he was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539. He was mentioned in his brother Edward's 'Will' of 1559.
6. William Underhill was born around 1521 and he was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539 as being under 21. He was possibly buried on 27^th October 1585 in East Grinstead ('William Senior')
7. Thomas Underhill was born around 1523 and he was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539 as being under 21. He was mentioned in his brother Edward's 'Will' of 1558 as Overseer & witness. He married Joan Plaw (or Plawe) on 26^th April 1562 in Lingfield, Surrey (daughter of William Plaw). Thomas left a 'Will' which was dated 23^rd April 1563 and he died in 1563. His wife Joan was pregnant at the time of death but there is no confirmation of birth or name of child.
8. Francis Underhill was born around 1525 and he was mentioned in his father's 'Will' of 1539 as being under 21. He was mentioned in his brother Edward's 'Will' of 1558 as childrens guardian. He possibly was buried on 4^th October 1583 in Lingfield. He had maybe possibly three children.
