General History

Edward Faulconer was one of my 13th generation Ancestors.

Key Dates:

He was the son of William Faulconer & Anne.  He was appointed executor to his father's ‘Will’ of 1558 and inherited from him ‘Rowhill’ and ‘Heggeland.’  Edward was a yeoman of Balcombe, Sussex.  Edward left a ‘Will’ dated 4th January 1588 and he was buried on 28th January 1588 in Balcombe, Sussex (shown as Fawlconer).
His wife was alive when he made his ‘Will’ and she received a third of all freeholds and copyhold known as Rowhill, unfortunately he did not mention her by name.
