  1. Athough the details of the individual entries are correct, and the children are born to the named parents, a rigorous analysis has not yet been undertaken to ensure that the correct family heads are with the appropriate children (ie if there was a choice of father's called 'William' the wrong one may have been used). Therefore this structure should only be viewed as indicative.
  2. Census: (See Jacob Brown 1754 for full details)

  4. SxG- Source 1 has a number of errors identified
    1. All dates shown between 01/01 and 24/03 up to year 1750 usually have the year shown as that of the previous year.
    2. There are some occasional slight date errors-. a) Mary daughter of Thomas shown baptised 9/6/1731 instead of 9/1/1732, b) Frances shown buried on 24/09/1748 instead of 28/09/1748
    3. Shows Thomas Browne buried 24/03/1767 whereas this is Thomas son of Joseph 1659
    4. Shows Sarah Brown buried12/08/1796 whereas this is probably Sarah wife of Joseph, son of John , son of Joseph 1659
