Cuthbert Browne (c1490) & Agnes

Border
General History

Cuthbert Browne was not one of my direct ancestors and was probably not related to me. However as their descendants form a part of the Mid Sussex, East Surrey & SW Kent Brown's the details are included here for completeness.

Key Dates:

Cuthbert Browne was maybe possibly born in about 1490 in Westerham, Kent. He married Agnes. Cuthbert owned Medhurst in Westerham from 1514 which was probably in the south of the parish (see personal history). Cuthbert was mentioned in the Westerham Manor records in 1547, 1551 & 1552 but probably died prior to 1559.
Agnes was buried on 15th April 1568 in Westerham, Kent (widow of Cuthbert Browne).

NOTE: This family group is incomplete- It is a collection of sub groups of information that are not currently linked but probably should be.
